Croydon, United Kingdom - February 14, 2018 /PressCable/ —

A new free LinkedIn training masterclass video has been released by London LinkedIn coaching service, Win At LinkedIn, to help B2B startups and solopreneurs harness the social media platform for generating leads, nurturing prospects and closing deals.

The masterclass is the first of its kind and is a sixty minute video of Head LinkedIn coach Jonny Rose explaining 50 LinkedIn growth hacks he has used to grow a technology firm from a student startup to a seven-figure multinational company serving clients such as JP Morgan, Dell, AllianceBernstein and IHS Markit.

Rose explained the thinking behind the new service: “So many business owners are forced to pay extortionate prices for very basic workshops that teach how to use LinkedIn. We want to give this information for free so that companies and individuals can save money as they benefit from the world’s largest professional network.”

Win At LinkedIn was established in late 2017; students are coached by Rose in 1-2-1 30 mins coaching sessions over Skype where they are taught how to use LinkedIn to generate new business and improve their sales pipeline. These are single sessions or can also be in packages of three or six. Over 500 million senior executives and service providers from over 200 countries use LinkedIn and users leverage the platform for a variety of task including job hunting, content marketing, lead generation, e-learning and recruitment solutions.

Rose continued: “Over 70 private students have gone through the masterclass since Dec 2017 and we have received lots of positive feedback. Now we want to launch this as a free public product for anyone interested. Our hope is that the masterclass will birth a new generation of entrepreneurs who become sales machines and can competently use LinkedIn to grow their companies to seven figures in revenue.”

The masterclass will be available on the Win At LinkedIn website from Tuesday 13th February, 2018.

Detention of Nissan's Ghosn extended through Dec. 20

Dec 11, 2018

TOKYO — A Tokyo court ruled Tuesday that Nissan Motor Co.'s former chairman, Carlos Ghosn, and another executive will remain in custody through Dec. 20, more than a month after their arrest. Their detention could continue for months more under the Japanese legal system. Ghosn's lawyer filed a protest with the court against the prolonged detention, the Tokyo District Court said. The court decision comes a day after Ghosn, fellow Nissan executive Greg Kelly and Nissan Motor were charged with violating financial laws by underreporting Ghosn's pay by about 5 billion yen ($44 million) in 2011-2015. They were arrested on...

Taiwan reinforces ban on Huawei network equipment

Dec 11, 2018

TAIPEI, Taiwan — Taiwan is reinforcing its five-year-old ban on network equipment produced by Chinese companies Huawei Technologies and ZTE Corp. amid security concerns. Officials sought over the weekend to reassure lawmakers and the public that such measures have been effective and the threat to the communications sector is minimal. Huawei has established a presence in Taiwan, with its handsets among the top sellers. The company also sponsors a Christmas extravaganza in a Taipei suburb that features a giant Santa emblazoned with Huawei's logo. While several countries have similar bans in place, the risk for Taiwan is potentially greater since...

It gave no other details. The announcement indicated talks are on track despite China's weekend threats of unspecified "grave consequences" if the Huawei Technologies Ltd. executive isn't released. She was arrested in Canada on U.S....

Brexit deal in turmoil as May postpones Parliament vote

Dec 11, 2018

LONDON — Facing almost certain defeat, British Prime Minister Theresa May on Monday postponed a vote in Parliament on her Brexit deal, saying she would go back to European Union leaders to seek changes to the divorce agreement. May's move threw Britain's Brexit plans into disarray, intensified a domestic political crisis and battered the pound. With EU officials adamant the withdrawal deal was not up for renegotiation, the country does not know on what terms it will leave — and whether May will still be Britain's leader when it does. In an emergency statement to the House of Commons, May...

UK's Boris Johnson reprimanded for failing to report income

Dec 11, 2018

LONDON — A British parliamentary committee reprimanded former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson on Thursday for failing to report income within time limits set by Parliament. Johnson acknowledged his mistake and apologized hours after the report was made public. He said he was making "a full and unreserved apology" for his tardy financial reports. Johnson was found to have failed to make timely income reports on nine recent occasions. The amount involved totaled more than 52,700 pounds ($67,000). The Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards found "that registrations were late on four separate occasions, involving nine payments, which suggested a lack of attention...
